F1SR is one of the oldest sim racing league and modding groups

F1SR is one of the oldest sim racing league and modding groups for racing simulations such as rFactor, rFactor2 and Assetto Corsa. Renowned for providing great mods that were universally approved we now mainly concentrate on providing professional league racing for the best PC based racing games there are. We are looking at creating some mods in the next year so watch out for news of these.

At F1SR we run many varied sim racing leagues and now mostly concentrate on next generation sims such as rF2 and Assetto Corsa. We run league races every Saturday evening from 20:00 GMT onwards and leagues generally last between 6-10 races.

We have a varied and passionate membership with drivers from all parts of the world including the UK, Europe, Canada, USA, South America and other parts of the globe. Some of our drivers are amongst the best sim racers there are and extremely quick but some are not so fast and still learning what sim racing is all about, but at F1SR we welcome all drivers, experienced or new, to come and join us and have fun and a great time.

We also have a great and very active forum that is constantly being updated, with many different topics and discussions going on, chatting about all different things from motorsports to music, pets to places, games and videos, cars and motorcycles, news and sci-fi, you name it we talk about it and its very interesting to get involved.

We are a close and supportive community and all get on well and have a great deal of fun. At F1SR anyone is welcome to come along and say hi and get involved in driving in the leagues.

F1SR looks forward to you joining us and if you have any questions, please dont hesitate to ask one of the forum administrators who will be pleased to answer any queries you may have.

Race On and Have Fun - The F1SR Team.

HOW F1SR STARTED

The Roots of F1SR date back to 2007 when key members of the racing community got together to form a new Modding group called Team Mod Father. Although a small group, the members were strong in conviction and dedicated to service the modding community with quality racing sims piggy backed off the successful ISI rFactor racing sim.

As the team evolved further we officially changed our name to F1-S-R. We are very active in the simulation racing community as a whole, and run a variety of racing simulations. Over the years our community has grown to expand well beyond our original Modding Group. F1SR today is really much more than just a sim-racing modding group, and is proud to be a vibrant community for simulation racers, motor sports fans and flying sims across the world. We host and sponsor several different leagues and series here under the F1SR Banner; including such simulations as rFactor 1 & 2, GTR2, DCS Blackshark and others.

We have members from different backgrounds and cultures, which makes being a part of F1SR a truly unique experience. One of our strong points as a team comes from having members from different parts of the world. We feel this gives us a broader perspective, understanding and appreciation for all forms of Motorsports.

To learn more about our community and the racing we provide simply visit our Community Forums! Anyone is welcome to participate -- so feel free to join us! All you need to do is register on the forums and introduce yourself to get started.

It is also important to us that we welcome sim racers of all skill levels. While many of our members have been racing online for many years and quite a few also have professional motorsport experience, we also stress the importance of helping and encouraging participation from all skill levels. The F1SR World Championship is a great place to start if you want to get to know us or are new to racing online and want to have some fun.

Fun races are just "that", purely for fun, laughs, and bragging rights. These events are an opportunity to run with friends (and make new ones) in a relaxed setting. You should not feel like you have to be a sim racing expert to participate in these, nor should you practice and prepare for hours on end for the race. The whole idea is to come and have a good time.

Our full time community members are there to help and answer any question you may have. So please Get ready and Strap Yourself In for the ride of your life.
