After a bit of advice chaps please - Do any of you use Windows 10 Firewall or do you use something like AVG or Norton? I have the full AVG suite but I don't know if its as good as Windows 10 built in Firewall or vice versa? I have the Win10 firewall off at the moment but its causing issues with installing app updates and security updates. Would it be ok to have it on as well as AVG or better the other way round? Thanks

Hi porks, I'm actually running Win10 Home x64 and up to now no special problem observed. I'm just using the embedded Windows Defender tool as active threat prevention and the Firewall set on recommended settings. It's more than enough as protection. AC runs very fine. Smooth and stable. FYI I'm running a i5 with a GTX770 and 8GB of DDR3.
My advice: Firewall On + Windows Defender = Winning Team.
Hope it will help you a bit... B)

Read this article from the antivirus company (ESET) I use: www.eset.co.uk/Press-Centre/Blog/Article/steam-xmas

Steam was targeted on Christmas Day & approx 34000 users who logged on that day could see randomly other peoples info.. but not their password

Just be mindful that some of that info could be used in a targeted phishing attack - to make it appear more authentic (by email etc)

Thank you Tony, always good to change passwords after a while anyway. I read about that last week but forgot about it.

I have a problem with my monitor. I have to keep turning it off and on at the button to get it to fire up and stay on. Is it on the way out? :(
